Neutrals and Metallics for spring

Would you consider a metallic color a neutral? I certainly do. Neutrals are those earthy colors that can be worn with almost anything else – they are organic, natural, and calm. It would seem that metallics are the opposite since they are bold, bright, and dynamic. But I consider gold to be a sunnier version of a beige. I would also consider it a neutral because it can be paired with so many other colors. So that’s why I’m drawn to neutrals and metallics for spring. I love the organic feel of this gold bracelet and could see it paired with so many warmer weather outfits. These casual chic sandals look so comfortable and versatile. These mules don’t contain a bit of gold, but make such a wonderful statement with just white and beige. I also love the timeless statement these Gucci sunnies make – the mild tortoiseshell effect reminds me of my first designer sunglasses! But honestly, I will also be living in a straw fedora like this during sunnier days. I can’t leave the house without one!
