Natural Beauty DIY: Softening and sunburn soothing mask

July 16, 2014

We all love coldĀ popsicles, dips in the pool, and long days during summer.

But no one loves the after effects of a scorching hot day at the beach – sunburn. Ā I am somewhat fair and unfortunately am prone to getting those hot, unsightly patches of reddened, sun exposed skin. Ā I’m thinking about paying more visits to the pool and am definitely liberally applying sunblock. Ā But if I still get some lobster like sunburn spots, I’m glad to have found an easy solution to soothing that red skin. Ā This is another easy and natural beauty DIY that will definitely cool me down after a hot summer day!

This is really great. I’ve never had many sunburns thankfully. But, I read about using this as a child and tried, my mum thought I was crazy, but it did feel really nice and soothing. I hope you are well doll šŸ™‚ xx

I use yohgurt as a mask sometimes so I can see why it would be effective for sunburn relief. I’m definitely doing my best to avoid sunburn in the first place these days šŸ™‚
