My Favorites for 2014

Dear friends, is 2014 almost over?

I wanted to look back at this year fondly and think about the pictures, people, and products that excited me.   My little girl was of course the best present this year, but one that required me to learn and grow as I have never done so before.  I’m glad to have had so many friends come on the blog and help out as I struggled to maintain this little space and figure things out the first few months.  I also decided to change directions slightly with the blog.  I miss blogging and will certainly try to do it more often as well as visit yours in the new year.  This will continue to be a list of life’s little luxuries.

A favorite luxury will always remain viewing beautiful pictures and my most loved photos from this year include:

Ballet and dreams in Vogue…

…remembering to appreciate my awesome friends, some of who are really like family…

…and keeping in mind that life is a journey, not just a destination.  My life will continue to be full of familiar places as well as unexpected ones and I need to make the most of it.

I’m glad I also got to travel a little to Taiwan and will be back next year!

I’m glad I got to create a few natural beauty DIYs and still use this shea coconut body butter on my feet every night (seriously, this works wonders!)

I am also glad that I convinced myself to splurge and have now discovered my favorite, easy to use foundation (seriously Hourglass immaculate foundation is so easy to apply and I love the instant liquid to powder transformation).

I’m a little behind on my resolutions, but I’ll certainly share them soon.  I want to form resolutions that will truly motivate me to be a better version of myself.  I have a good feeling about next year…
