Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fun Finds – Metallic and floral animal sculptures
Talichiro Yoshida makes beautiful animal sculptures. But he doesn’t carve or shape the animals from a typical medium. He uses metal to form his animals. He also doesn’t use flat pieces of metal, he shapes each metal pieces into floral elements and then creates the sculpture. The result is a stunning, multi-layered piece.
This blush bunny is just stunning!
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…hosting a birthday party for my little lady! I vowed to take it easy so I only blew up 52 balloons, haha. No really, it could have been worse. It’s going to be a panda theme with black and white balloons and a few leaves here and there. I’m mostly excited about using the panda shaped cookie cutters on fruit though. Otherwise, there will be lots of dumplings (pork or chicken!), grilled pork skewers, noodles, japanese curry puffs, and lots of fruit. The little girl loves pork and so I have to oblige right? Oh and I’ll be making lemon lime tofu cheesecake and gluten free blueberry muffins too. #fullonmommyhostessmode
What are you doing this weekend?
