Hello lovelies, another weekend over, another week starting up.
I have a pretty awesome weekend because I finished buying gifts for my family in Taiwan, FINALLY figured out how to package all these cookie favors (err just gotta test it out, stat and hope I can give you a semi-useful DIY), and had a lovely belated birthday dinner with some friends in London.
So I spent Saturday afternoon walking along Oxford Street (1 of the main shopping streets here). The street was closed to car traffic and there were already 2 million people riding the underground so I was forced to walk an extra mile to catch a bus. Yeah.
Oxford Street was insanely packed with shoppers.
Puss in Boots and champagne. Obviously.
What cool light displays! It makes me want to just sit inside a warm pub, drink apple cider and people watch on all the shoppers.
Looks like you had fun! That tiramisu looks so GOOD!
all these pictures are amazing! i love the elf on stilts! haha. That tiramisu looks so yummy!
I am kind of dying over that tiramisu.
yours was waaaay better than mine 🙂 i’ve been studying in a library…
Wow. Those are such amazing photos. I’d love to have been there. I had a great weekend. My birthday was on Friday.
wow! so Christmasy. those windows are amazing 🙂
omg pretty!!! our city is not big enough to have big department stores to decorate like that.. actually to think about it we dont’ even have any department stores more than 3 stories high… The umbrella is soo cute its like mary poppins floating in the sky 😀
Sadly, I have never been in London for Christmas (a dream of mine), but Oxford Street at the post-holiday Sales season is AWESOME! 🙂
Oh my gosh, I love the umbrellas and presents up in the air!
oooh fabulous London…rain or shine!
Yummm on the dessert!
xo*
Ohh you won that garter! Lucky thing!
yep…your weekend was amazing! I had lunch with a friend visiting from London today and it made me want to go back to visit…it’s been over 10 years!
my weekend was pretty great. very lazy and relaxing:)
Wonderful Christmas images! So nice to meet you! And best of luck with planning your wedding!
If you need anything from Italy, count me in!
Glad to meet you!
oooh I miss London! looks exactly like I remember it…ridiculously crowded & rainy Oxford street. we seriously almost lost it with the amount of people on the street all carrying umbrellas. it was too much. how apropos that the lights hanging over the street are umbrellas, right?
loooved Selfridges. i bought some amazing zipper peep-toe booties from there.
and congrats about the garter. i love her work. they’re gorgeous!
