Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Kate Ballis infrared photography
Have you ever seen infrared photography? I saw a few photos using this technique previously and thought the style was so fun. I just came upon a few examples of Kate Ballis’ infrared photography and was reminded of this unique style. The Australian based photographer took photos of scenes around California, including Joshua Tree, and the resulting photos are bright, stark, and vibrant. I feel like I’m truly seeing the landscape more clearly, but through the coolest rose colored glasses. Imagine seeing these in real life some time?
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…hopefully going to relax a little bit! My husband is back in town and I’m hoping the baby is feeling a bit better/sleeping a bit longer. The early wakeups are leaving me exhausted and I may have fallen asleep at 7 pm briefly this week. We may also head to a neighborhood that we really liked previously to let the kids play and maybe grab an interesting meal. I’m glad we’re keeping it low key this weekend! I don’t have the energy to do much more!
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
I’ve seen vivid sunsets of a resemblance in real life although not as bright as these. Stunning images!
Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend! ^-^
THESE PHOTOS ARE SO FUN AND UNIQUE! I’ve played with infrared film when I was still doing traditional photography and it was cool because it always brought out something unexpected.
i also never seem to have energy these days, and its summer!! time to eat better i guess!
hope you gets lots of rest on the w/e!
