“There’s just really interesting facets of culture just swirling in Morocco. They all have slightly different colours, so it’s just an inspiring place to be.” Mark Foster
What are some of the places on your travel bucket list? Morocco is certainly a place I’ve wanted to visit for some time. When I saw this editorial of Julia van Os for Vogue Japan July 2019, I was reminded of how much I’d love to visit this captivating country. One of my favorite aspects of traveling is to be able to experience another culture. There is the richness of spices and flavors from Muslim, African and Mediterranean influences. Hmm, I don’t think I’ve had many Moroccan dishes to date, but would love to change that. I’m suddenly craving a rich tagine with some fragrant couscous…
But really, I’d love to witness the beautiful architecture and design elements scattered throughout Morocco. As you can see from my Instagram, I am drawn to interesting storefronts and buildings. I can’t help but stop when I see decorative window grills or a traditional archway decorated in bold colors. I’m that person that oohes and ahhs at the design details in tiles and moldings adorning buildings. When I was in the West Village briefly, I was reminded of how much visual elements really inspire and rejuvenate me. It was definitely needed after the draining trip we had so far! So I’ll get to you someday Morocco!
Have a lovely week!
wow so stunning shoots. I was in MOROCCO for two weeks – travelling only with my friend on our own way. It’s an awesome and very awesome country.
Oh what a beautiful editorial! I’d love to explore Morocco too, I’ve never been to anywhere even remotely like it!
Hope your week is off to a good start 🙂
