Are regular printed photos still relevant?
Admit it, you likely have a digital camera or phone (even my Nokia from 5 years ago still took pictures!) and you like snapping pictures on the go. Maybe you’re an Instagram lover like me (I’m chicncheapliving there!) or just love to be the weirdo at the dinner table with the huge DSLR camera getting close ups of your dessert (guilty again!)
Your photos are being liked and shared via email and social networks almost daily. So would you actually want printed photos around your home?
I would say “Oh yes!” This picture from West Elm was an inspiration.
Yes our pictures may be viewed more easily, but the sheer number of photos out there mean that some may get lost in the mix (how have I been tagged in hundreds of photos through the years?!) I may still use our digital photo frame, but I really love how displayed photos add to the warmth and feel of a home.

I’ve been wanting to update our “photo wall” in the living room since it hasn’t been in, well, years. So easy to forget with everything being online now!
yes to printed photos! at the end of each month, i send my photos to get printed and frame the ones i love. while ornate and colorful frames are fun to look at, i stick with plain black frames to keep the look on my wall cohesive.

In other news – I really love the lamp in that photo! Like really love!
I have not developed any photos in a long time. Totes should too b/c the ones on my wall are looking a little dated…haha!

Great finds!! I say that you can never have too many framed photos around the house — especially photos of family members!
I love that Target frame!
ah, love it. I have a similar display above my entertainment area. But I mix art prints and photos in gold and black frames. Always makes me smile when I look at it. Really does pull a space together.
Love that room!
Ok, I’ve never been inside west elm. I’ve seen it a million times but everytime, I find myself going into z gallerie instead.
great photos! i love the idea of frames!!!
