Let me just say it first – I did NOT get rompers.
As a new mom, they remind me of the layettes or onesies that I put on my little one. But the more I see them, the more I like them. Yes, some versions still require some wrangling when it comes time to use the restroom. The appeal lies in the same way it appeals to me for my little girl though – they are an easy outfit to put together. They can also create a very clean silhouette since it is just one piece. As a perpetual skirt and dress wearer, I should also be attracted to the fact that they are easier for moving around. I always need to watch myself when I am actively running around, sitting, and getting in and out of a car; the romper definitely takes care of that problem! I found myself browsing rompers on Shopbop since many are at such at such a fab price now.
So now I’ve succumbed and here are a few fab rompers I’d love for summer:
Keepsake strange desire romper, Shopbop, $47.70 (from $159)
MOTHER sleeveless short romper, Shopbop, $58.80 (from $196)
Re:named tux vest romper, Shopbop, $87
Reverse lace back romper, Shopbop, $28.80 (from $96)

They’re making them quite fashionable now! Very cute styles.

It took me a while to like rompers, too, but now I think they are really cute 🙂
I think rompers are adorable, but in truth, I had one once and just couldn’t deal with the bathroom situation. I’d totally be into a matching shorts and top set however.
