“You just do the best you can with what you’ve got… and sometimes magic strikes.”
What are your talents? Are you a closet singer with a range that rivals Mariah Carey? Can you paint a dynamic scene like Renoir? Or are you a gifted programmer weaving together code to create really cool products or reports? I saw this editorial of Gigi Hadid for WSJ Magazine October 2016 entitled “Spellbound” and thought about our own magic and talents. I’m not necessarily world class caliber anything, but I’m pretty confident in my abilities in certain areas. I can manage projects pretty well. In addition, my friends and family have told me that I’m a good photographer and cook. As a result, I try to continue cultivating these talents. Since I am always trying to improve my abilities, I come up with a few good results once in a while.
I’m very proud of creations like my gluten free sugar free carrot cake. I’m not aiming to be the next Martha Stewart. But I was really set on creating great, but healthy food for my daughter. As a result, I have created some pretty delicious foods for my loved ones. As Sally said above, sometimes we have to make do with what we’re given. Then the unexpected and magical may happen.
Have a lovely week!

I love Gigi Hadid! There’s just something about her! She’s awesome in pictures and on the runway. Some models just stand out. You are talented at MANY things! I think that’s super awesome! We all have our own gifts and it’s important to cultivate them each and everyday!
