Chips (or crisps in London) are my kryptonite I LOVE them and English people know how to make some good crisps – Walker’s Sensation caramelized onion and balsamic vinegar chip – soooo good!
I wanted to share some of the random things I see in my travels because I see a lot of stuff that is certainly unique to my North American raised eyes. So now I present – random chip flavors in England.
These could make fun, cheap gifts for visitors as long as you have room for them!
Check it out…
Worcester Sauce…not just for steak now
Speaking of steak…
But what if I crave another meat…
And who doesn’t like chicken right?
I remember having dill chips as well as ketchup chips in Spain. Those were pretty good. Ooh and I’ll have to share random snacks I’ve seen in Taiwan. Oh the fun food possibilities!
Yeah the english do make some good chips!
Wow – chicken-flavored chips! I can’t imagine!
YUM! I wonder if you could get them through Aussie customs?
This made me miss “home”. We lived over there for a few years, and I love their crisps. Their Indian inspired onion bahjee chips were oh so yummy!
I think the weirdest Walkers Crisp I encountered in England was the Prawn Cocktail flavor.
oh my goodness! so many meat flavored chips.
You should count yourself lucky! I always miss all the amazingly funky flavours of snacks in Asia.
Tell me your Holy Grail mascara and you could win a must-have beauty prize!! http://highmaintenancewoman.blogspot.com/2010/03/holy-grail-mascaras-giveaway.html
I was surprised when I first came to live to London with all those flavors, I dnt like them though, I only enjoy Kettle chips 🙂
The Roast Chicken is my fave! My BFF was in the UK over Christmas and I made him bring some back to LA for me…all crushed but still delicious! 🙂
Wow, we are lagging way behind in the awesome snack race over here! I am intrigued by “ketchup chips” . . .
Those are my three favourite crisps!!!
This post made me smile and made me happy to be a quirky British eccentric – no matter how many times I go to America i’ll never understand chilli or corn dogs!
Merci beaucoup for stopping by =]
Stay safe and chic ma chérie,

Roast Chicken crisps are the bomb!!! Mmmm, haven’t had one of those since 2004. It’s been too long since my last trip to the UK 🙁
Balsamic vinegar? Never tried it, but it sounds divine. Just the ordinary salt and vinegar (which unfortunately never gained much popularity in Norway) is enough to have me drooling.
I have not had crisps, but I love chips in general (and most junk food!) Bring some back to the States to share!
i love ketchup flavored chips but they’re impossible to find here in the states. and they don’t taste the same.
i LOVE crazy chip flavour. i think my husband would enjoy the worcester chips. we had curry flavoured chips growing up in hong kong and i still love them. the spicier the better!
in canada, ketchup chips and dill pickle are both very popular flavours.
you should check out pocky stick flavours – the selection is incredible!
I’m always in favor of crazy chip flava!
Bacon chips? Bring ’em on over to America!
i will try most any food that is bacon flavored 🙂
Oh the best are good ol’ prawn cocktail!
Coolest chips EVER. I would eat them ALL.
