Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fun Finds
I love finding interesting pieces for home decor. I am always fascinated by how objects that are traditionally used for one purpose can be completely re-imagined for a new and utterly different function. I found this test tube chandelier designed by Pani Jurek and was instantly smitten with the color sand modern design. I imagine it would be quite beautiful on a bright, sunny day with the sunlight passing through the kaleidoscope of vibrant shades. If I had kids, I would totally want this in their play room (assuming the room had high ceilings too!) I pinned it here (come and say hi on Pinterest!)
…FINALLY checking out some of the local museums. It is sad that I’ve been here for a few years and haven’t really explored SE Asian art. We are taking advantage of free admission Friday nights to visit a museum and get those cultural juices flowing.
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
Love that, it’s gorgeous. It has to go where the light comes in, so all the colours shine against the walls and floor…so pretty xx
oh man, that is way cool!!
have a good w/e 🙂
Ooh, the Test Tube Chandelier is the coolest thing ever – I need that in my life! 🙂
What a fun chandelier! I’ve lived in SF for 10 years (in August) and still have not made it to every museum. Shame on me! Have a great time and I can’t wait to hear all about it.
That is such a fun and unique chandelier! I love how colorful it is.
I’m mass wrapping dumplings this weekend.
Enjoy your museum visits!

I’ve never seen this type of chandelier before, sooo cute and colourful, it would be so much fun to have in a home, really funky and youthful. Love visiting museums myself….enjoy it sweety!

I’ve been meaning to take the dude to the cool children’s museum that we have here in Tampa!
As a science major, that chandelier is SO AWESOME! hahaha I am loving all the colors. I love going to museums. We have a small one here in New Orleans. There are exhibits every once in awhile. That’s why I admire London so. They have so many! I bet there are some nice ones in Asia too.
