Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fun Finds
Good photos are both priceless and timeless. They capture memories and feelings that really move us, even years after we may see a photo for the first time. I knew good wedding photography was important to me. But I also know that not everyone has access to a fancy camera and someone that can use that fancy camera. Why not learn how to use an existing device, like an iPhone, to capture a major event like a wedding?
Here is a great tutorial from Photojojo for how you can make your iPhone take great photos. I like the general tips about lighting and lenses. Even if there is a photographer for something like a wedding, but you love to take photos, you could still be the awesome guest that is touch-screening away to capture the lovely couple on their special day. If you are taking photos like this, your newly married friends will definitely be grateful!
p.s. the camera on the iPhone 5 looks amazing! I bet you could really take some great, even wedding worthy photos on it! I’m also loving the panorama mode!
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…doing lots of virtual cleaning. I have tons of pictures to organize and edit. You may have also noticed that I have a “Virtual loves” section at the top of my page. This is basically my blogroll for the blogger buddies and established publications I love to visit. I’ve tried to be inclusive, but if I was experiencing an Asian blonde moment, please let me know that you would like your link to be included. If you’d like to swap links and we have similar tastes (I will gently decline to swap links if you run something like a football fan site), then let me know!
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!

Photos are my biggest struggle–I need to be like every other blogger with a bf or hub who’s talented! i’ll take any and all tips!
Beautiful photo! I was very thankful for my friends that snapped iphone photos at our wedding – those held me over while we waited for our pro photos to come. Thanks for the link love on your page! My plan for the weekend is to work tomorrow and (hopefully) relax on Sunday.
we’re starting to make wine this weekend – this will take a few weekends to go – happy weekend!
I have definitely been impressed with the quality of photos taken with my iPhone 4S since I got it last year! My friends loved using it during our recent vacation to Seattle, because they said it took better shots than their regular digital camera. I’m sure the iPhone 5 will be even more awesome! Thanks for including me on your blog roll, too. You’re on mine, as well.
You can do so much on an iPhone now. It’s crazy! It is much easier than carrying a camera along with the phone, though.

I was initially in the market for a new camera, but when I got my iPhone 4S last November my search was officially over. The quality is just incredible! 🙂

I am going to a friend’s wedding next week, so the tips are timely useful. I’m slowly getting familiar with Blogger’s tools: as soon as my blog features a reading list, you will be for sure in the top rankings. Lobe, Coco
