Were you ever good at making shadow puppets? Â I will admit that I was pretty terrible, but can still throw out the eagle or yapping dog! Â Now I never thought I would think about shadows in decor, but came across theseshadow chairs by Duffy London and was smitten. Â There is such a fun twist on perspective – doesn’t it looks like the chairs are almost floating? Â I bet people would love the last chair with the wolf shadow silhouette!
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…seeing a friend I haven’t seen all year! Â The little lady is now 5 months pregnant! Â It is funny how life changes so suddenly (ok I know it has been a few months!) but my friend’s life will be completely different very soon. Â Most of my friends are having babies or have had babies so I guess we are wrapping up the wedding phase (with first and second weddings, it keeps happening!) and entering the baby phase. Â The husband and I are still content in our phase (just married and enjoying it!), but it would be interesting to be in that next life phase whenever that happens!
What phase are you and your friends in?
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
Love the last one!! I hope you have a wonderful time with your friend! xx
Very inspiring post. Your choices are always so stylish and refined!!!!

Wow, how cool is this chair! Very innovative find. Have a lovely weekend spending time with your friend 🙂
Those chairs are really fun – the first is my favorite! Most of my friends are now married and many of them are on their first child. A few are already on their second. I know it’s not great to feel this way, but I’ve been having doubts lately about feeling left behind. My husband says we need to wait until it’s right for us. He’s right, of course, but sometimes it’s hard to ignore those feelings. Have a wonderful weekend!
everyone’s married or having kids but me! but i’m happy and never really did things the way i was supposed to.
I was not good at making shadow puppets as a kid! Other than a butterfly…lol! Enjoy the wknd and have fun seeing your friend who is going to welcome a new baby soon!
Wow those are BIZARRE but really cool!
ohhh that chair is AWESOME!!!
aww so happy to hear you’re seeing your friend that you haven’t seen in so long!! and yes i know what you mean i have a couple of girlfriends that just had babies in the last couple of years.. and it’s sort of surreal especially when you’ve known them since THEY were kids hahaha
Have a great weekend! We’re definitely still in the “enjoying being married phase.” No kids on the horizon yet!
The hubs and I are still content in our phase as well…just married and enjoying it. 🙂
Love the shadow chair with the howling wolf.
I loved shadow puppets and these chairs do look like they are floating! Very neat! Very happy for your friend. All of my friends are married with kids. I’ve done neither. My relationships just haven’t worked out. Want to be married, but never linked up with the right man. Oh well! I’m happy for others. Bless you and your husband.
