Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!
So remember your parents always telling you that you are what you eat? How about if you wear what you eat? Korean artist Sung Yeon Ju transforms everyday foods from banana peels to green onion / scallion leaves and uses them as the basis of the materials of our clothing pieces. Her series “Wearable Foods” started as a term project two years ago and she’s still creating new pieces. She creates food with digital art to make these striking pieces. I actually really like the designs here!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…going to Muay Thai again! It’s completely high impact and kicks my butt, but I love it. I am mildly worried that I’m doing it too soon after spraining my ankle, but I’m not kicking too hard for now (also I don’t have great form). I’m also finally seeing a friend who had a new baby a little while ago. Life just gets in the way and now the little guy is almost 3 months old!
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
What great artworks! I did wonder if one of the photos was going to be the lady gaga meat dress though, ha! It’s what came to mind when I started scrolling!
Hope that you are having a great weekend! I went out to a fashion show last night, it was a lot of fun 🙂
