This is such a quirky, fun little project – tin can photo frames. Â Huh?! Â Yes, use your tin cans to display your photos in a kitchy, unexpected way. Â I found this great tutorial on Photojojo and love the ease and unique way of presenting photos. Â I may have to try this some day! Â Can you imagine a collection of photo tin cans stacked together? Â It would be a great rainy day project or one you can do with kids.
What photos would you display?
Otherwise, this weekend, I am…
…getting a beloved H&M midi skirt tailored. Â I first mentioned this perfect indigo skirt here and found it after visiting 4 H&Ms in NYC/Syracuse. Â Mr. Spend & Chomp is the official ironer in the household and didn’t realize that he had to change the setting to iron for my skirt and poof – the side melted a bit. Â Luckily, it is not too far from the side seam, so I am hoping I can just get it altered slightly. Â I am also going to do a mini closet cleanup this weekend to see what can be saved and what can be donated. Â Sharing a closet is not easy, so I always have to think about what I’ll actually keep and wear!
What are you doing this weekend?

I like the tin can frames! Too bad about the ironing accident, but hopefully it can be saved at the tailor. We are hosting a party for my husband’s birthday this weekend. I’m looking forward to it 🙂
That is a GREAT idea!
What a fun idea! It reminds me of the water bottle I had made with a couple wedding pictures. Have a great weekend! We’ll be out celebrating my birthday, which I’m excited about.

i’m bad at ironing and hate it, so i used a little steamer instead!
That’s neat! Sharing a closet can be sooo hard but I think it’s good that it forces me to stay minimal sometimes. Have a lovely weekend!

i hope your closet project goes well! i switched my spring/summer closet for my fall/winter closet, and there are several things to give away. that is always a good thing to do, even tho sometimes i eventually regret some of the things that i donate. oh well. whaddya gonna do. at least it is helping someone else out! 🙂
have a fab weekend!!!!
Haha I love those! And I had to laugh when I read about melting your skirt with the iron. We had a similar incident with a ruffle top from J.Crew, so ever since then I take everything to the dry cleaner! Hope you have a great weekend 🙂 xx
lovely idea!!!!
happy weekend!
