Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!
Why have a carved pumpkin that’s only limited to Halloween? Or why not use the same one year after year? I’ve always found this aspect of Halloween fascinating. It’s cute to carve pumpkins, but they inevitably rot and have to be thrown away. Oh and of course, all that wasted pumpkin! Yuck! So it’s interesting that Alex Wer, aka Pumpkin Geek, started a whole side hustle out of carving reusable pumpkins. He accidentally got into pumpkin carving after creating a custom one for his wife’s company including their business logo. Word of his carving prowess spread and he became known for his custom pumpkins. It’s so fun to see the different mediums artists use!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…doing some more clean-up. The physical decluttering never ends, but I want to also digitally clean as well. I have so many pictures I’ve never pinned and files that are obsolete. It will be good to do a refresh. I’ll also pick up a balance bike for the kids which is exciting – hopefully the little ones get comfortable with it and transition to bikes soon!
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
