Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fun Finds
I am constantly amazed by artists and slightly envious that I don’t have the talent to create beautiful pieces of art myself (my mother can paint beautifully, but that talent is obviously skipping this generation!) I saw these beautiful pictures of paper art and posted it on Pinterest (join me here friends and let me know if you are on the site!) Carlos Amorales created 30,000 paper butterflies to adorn this beautiful site in Lisbon. If you need another excuse to go to Lisbon, this is obviously it!
…just getting back from Boracay and possibly lamenting my return to real life. We will probably do some light cleaning and get together for dinner with some friends (hmm maybe Mexican?) but won’t do anything too momentous.
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
I like to say to myself that ‘appreciating art and have artistic sensitivity’ is a blessing -although I totally hear you! Lovely piece. Enjoy your weekend darling. On this end, I’m particularly excited about watching The Life Of Others -finally! Other than that, my weekend will be all about chilling at home, dvds and hitting a Spanish restaurant with some friends. Xo,
Let us know how you like “The Life of Others”! I adore Spanish food – yum and have fun!
This is so beautiful. The amount of detail…wow!
Have a good weekend!
Beautiful butterflies! They remind me of the display in Serena Van Der Woodsen’s room on Gossip Girl. Welcome back and have a wonderful weekend with friends!
i bought flowers like those – never hung them tho – still in boxes …. it’s FREEZING here – i’m most likely staying in and redecorating and organizing
normally I’m not crazy about butterfly art, but this is stellar!
wow! this is amazing! xx
that is just stunning!!! wow!!! enjoy the weekend, love.
Swoon! That paper art is just exquisite. I truly wish that I lived in an area that was more cultured {and full of museums} – it would be awesome to attend exhibits like this each week!! 🙂
