Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!Fun Fact
Did you know that it is National Ice Cream month (in the US – seriously who makes this stuff up)? Β So now it is your obligationΒ to have some delicious ice cream! Β I am definitely a vanilla (with vanilla bean please) lover, but Bailey’s Irish Cream is also up there among my favorite ice creams. Β I also love to have ice cream with fresh berries – cold, sweet, and refreshing indeed!

Otherwise this weekend I am…
…lunching at Nando’s per my husband’s request and having lots of their spicy peri peri sauce. Β We first had Nando’s when my husband was a poor grad student living in London. Β There were quite a few Nando’s around and I remember a group of us once having a veritable feast at Nando’s complete with their signature grilled chicken, baskets of fries, orzo, and garlic bread. Β It wasn’t fine dining, but it was a tasty way to end the week with a few friends! Β I can’t eat there again without thinking of London and the very different lifestyle we led there.
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
how did i not know it was ice cream month? i think this weekend i will be making up for all the scoops i missed π
Ummmm….it’s been National Ice Cream Month all Summer for me. Oops! (hee hee)
there are SO many good places for ice cream in atl. and ive gotta try them all π
Yum, ice cream! My favorite is the “secret breakfast” from Mitchell’s in SF – Wheaties ice cream with a scoop of bourbon ice cream. It sounds gross but is really good! Have a good time at brunch – I love nostalgic dining locales π
Vanilla is my favorite flavor, as well! π
Never heard of Nando’s before, but it sounds like a good place to lunch. And yes, I did know it was ice cream month. I celebrated with fried banana and ice cream and some magnum ice cream bars as well!
Omg I am all about Haagen Dazs’ Strawberry ice cream!
I love bailey’s ice cream! I’ve had it a few times, it’s hard to find in stores something you can get as dessert at a restaurant. Never heard of Nando’s but it sounds delish.
Any excuse to eat ice cream is fine with me!!
I actually have a low key weekend planned with absolutely no obligations!!! Yahoo!!

Strawberries! I love them! I don’t like ice cream though! I really like your blog! It would be nice if you could stop by my blog sometime too (I’m from England) as I post my outfits and more π π
