Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear
I can’t help peeking at alll the clothes whenever NYFW rolls around. I was curious about the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear because everyone was lamenting about how it was late. But was it worth the wait? The pieces almost bounced off the runway when they arrived. The exaggerated, oversized ’80s vibe somehow was represented by fluffy, luxurious flowers. I imagine this is what a hipper, older Alice would have worn in her wonderland. The colors were also soft and pretty. I wouldn’t have been happy waiting 1.5 hours, but I would have been a bit happier seeing these undeniably fun pieces make their way down the runway. Also the trench coat and long rose gown…
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…going to head to the museum with the kids. Although, truthfully, my husband is the one that wants to go to see this Marvel exhibit. It’s not like my little one has even seen Marvel movies so maybe we’ll take the kids to a more age appropriate exhibit one day while I accompany the husband to see superheroes galore. Otherwise, I’m just hoping to start “The Ozarks” and just chill out since there are no birthday parties this weekend.
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
I would not have been happy with the wait either, but the collection is fun!
Hummm not sure how I feel about these designs, and more over, how they will inspire the ready to wear pieces. I could do with out bubble sleeves though I am still loving the wide flowing trousers.
