Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
“Colors” by Karen Jerzyk
A certain color can have such strong associations. We associate blue with a serene, sometimes melancholy state. Green can represent growth and renewal. Meanwhile, red is the color of passion, love, or sometimes aggressiveness.
I thought it was really interesting to see “Colors” by Karen Jerzyk in which she styles photos according to distinct colors. There is a surreal feeling to these photos and it reminds me of Tim Walker’s style. I thought it was really fun to see and imagine these colors taking over the mood and energy of a shot.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…finally catching up with a few friends over a playdate. It is a bit sad how I don’t see a few friends anymore because we’re so busy with our kids. Luckily I have a few friends with kids about the same age as my little lady so we can get them to entertain each other once in a while. We are also trying to go out with friends in the next few weeks since I only have so much time before I pop/lose my freedom/say goodbye to my sleep!
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
Those pictures are so interesting! Hope you are having a great weekend 🙂

Yes the styling is so surreal and Tim Burton comes to mind as well!
Wow! I found these colored rooms just fascinating!
You’re right! They do have a Tim Walker aesthetic to them. Very striking photos!
It really helps when there are children near your child’s age. So glad you have that support system.
