Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Fun Finds
I love finding art that uses interesting materials. I recently features Jen Stark’s explosive and dramatic paper art here. Jeff Nishinaka’s work is similar in the use of paper, but puts a different spin on paper art. He goes into the details of a piece – from the clouds in the sky to the eyebrows on a dragon – and creates pieces with such vibrancy.
Here are a few favorites below:
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…heading to the aquarium! My husband loves marine life and is very excited about the trip. We have early afternoon tickets which usually isn’t ideal with the little one’s nap schedule but hopefully the fish will make her sleepy? Thus are the problems when parents want a life and also want to involve their kids. Nevertheless, it should be fun and beautiful even if wailing babies are part of the ambient ocean sounds. #pleasesleep
What are you doing this weekend?
