Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Japon en Silence Photographs
Japan has been on my mind lately. I have a few friends visiting Sapporo now which is covered in snow. I’m loving glimpses of the frost and wonderful Japanese snacks. We went to Tokyo a few months after the little one was born and loved it. We brought her to a random little sushi restaurant by Tsukiji fish market and had a wonderful time. Ksenia Vysotskaya beautifully captures many of these small scenes and moments that make Japan such a special place. Hopefully I get there next year!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…taking the little one to a museum. There is an exhibit that is supposed to be great for kids so we’ll try to take her before it closes up. Get ready to see some pictures of the fun disco ball pit! My husband has also requested a real pine tree this year so we will check out a few nurseries. I don’t like sweeping up pine needles, but it is really nice smelling that real tree smell!
Have a lovely week!
These images are too beautiful – I love how serene they feel!

These photos are absolutely beautiful! Beyond the composition, I feel like every one just tells it’s own little story.
We dream to visit Japan but we do need to save up a lot for the trip as it’s one of the world’s most expensive countries to visit. They are just so rich in culture and history and it would be a fascinating trip.

I hope you get to Japan! The food can be expensive, but I loved having meals in the department store basements which had the best stalls of everything from gyoza to squash and eel. I think AirBnB is there now which makes it easier and they have smaller hotels too!
on my bucket list indeed. Japan looks magical
It’s so beautiful there! Jo of white roses and coffee just went. She loved it.
