Otherwise this weekend I am…

…seeing some old friends from graduate school.  They are all visiting for some reason and we are going to have a dessert or coffee together.  The funny thing is that all of them have or are going to have two kids!  It is funny to meet friends again when they are at a different stage and have started their own families.  Many of us go through the transition and vow not to become different people.  Then the reality of missed nap times and fussy eating takes over and alas, the social life revolves around babies as opposed to champagne brunches. At least there are kid friendly restaurants!
