Fuchun New Century Wonderland Resort boat room
Have you ever stayed in any interesting hotel rooms? I’ve stayed at a few cool bed and breakfasts, including one that was next to a working farm. I was also lucky enough to stay in an overwater villa in the Maldives which was as amazing as it sounds. Otherwise I’ve stayed in pretty standard rooms. The Fuchun New Century Wonderland Resort boat room is definitely not a typical room. There are five boat rooms and they are all modeled after traditional boats. Two-thirds of the room is over water in this very cool setting.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…hosting my little one’s first birthday party! I’ve always thrown a party for my little lady’s birthday so felt like the little guy needed one too. We are keeping it small and somehow 30 people are still coming. Help! But I’ve been simplifying the menu and realize that we don’t have to have a 7 course meal (it’s at 3 pm after all!) So I already started baking a few treats and we’ll have a few finger foods on hand. Most importantly, I hope the little ones all have fun!
