Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
I adore flowers. Bring on the peonies, tulips, orchids, roses and even baby breath. Imagine my surprise to see flowers in a completely different medium – ice! I was completely fascinated by how these frozen arrangements were captured. Bruce Boyd and Darien Smith collaborated on Zero Degrees to depict flowers in a frozen state. They then took pictures underwater as the ice started to crack and melt. The result is a mix of surreal vibrant colors and textures. Here are some favorites.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…taking time for myself. We have a few kiddie birthday parties to attend, but luckily are building in some me/we time as well. I booked a massage for my husband and myself for his birthday so that should be great. Bring on the relaxation! We are also meeting a few friends for a nice dinner. It is also great to have a nice, uninterrupted meal with good food. Yes to some me time!
