Happy Fun, Free, Friday lovelies!
Have you been staying at home the last few days/weeks? We’ve been homebound, though are fortunate that school will be back in session and we have the tools to work from home. I know some areas are essentially locked down with people unable to leave home completely. Many schools are taking weeks/months long breaks. So I’ve seen people coming up with lots of creative projects and tasks to do from home. I stumbled across this list of free virtual garden tours and it totally made my day.
It’s heart warming to see that some of these places have had gardens for over 100 years! I’d love to witness the famous light in Monet’s garden or check out the Victorian glasshouse in Kew Gardens. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to them so this is a lovely way to visit.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…taking the little one to her remaining classes / activities while they are still meeting. Some of her classes are still meeting in person with stricter measures. But in person Girl Scout meetings have been cancelled which is a shame since the girls were starting to bond. My husband and I will also try to patronize restaurants while they are still open now. While we can’t avoid touching dinnerware, we minimize contact otherwise and wash our hands frequently. These are some trying times, but we should also remember to support small businesses who are really suffering in this climate. Be safe and support one and other.
