Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2017 Couture
Have you caught any of Couture Week Spring 2017? I didn’t actively follow it, but did view a few pictures on Instagram (I’m here – let’s connect!) and checked it out later. I’ve always adored Elie Saab’s work and the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2017 Couture collection was a continuation of unabashed glamour. It was great to see the infusion of a little retro glam with these draped collar. The glorious capes were also divine!

Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…slowly recovering. Sorry I’ve been MIA this week, but felt pretty miserable. I relented and went to the doctor and got some medication that should hopefully alleviate some of this insane coughing and congestion. We’re flying to Central New York next week so I really need to get better. It is definitely no fun to fly a long haul flight when sick. We will also be inviting a few people over for Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year celebrations. While we typically don’t do anything, it’s a big holiday in Singapore and I thought it would be nice to have a few people over. I’ll be frying up a few large batches of dumplings or gyoza and making a few new dishes as well. It should be tasty and fun!

The only show I caught a bit of was Chanel and it was dreamy. Hope you make a full recovery before you have to fly,. Being sick on a plane is the worst. A very happy CNY to you and yur family!
