NYC Discounts
I grew up in the city that never sleeps and going to Broadway shows were always a fun group activity (and a nice break from just hanging out at South Street Seaport); musicals were just part of my cultural landscape and I was fortunate to watch a few of them. I first saw “Les Miserables” (still one of the most iconic shows), but also remembered seeing “Cats” (wow it really was just a show about singing cats hanging out). There are more new shows every year, but the great ones still remain.
One classic is “Chicago” and selected orchestra / front mezzanine tickets are $79.50 via this link through March, 11, 2012. It would definitely be a nice last minute Valentine’s Day gift or just a fun break when you are in Manhattan.
Otherwise this weekend, I am…
…doing some much needed virtual organization. As you know I’m working on a blog platform transfer and need to do some research on good WordPress themes and designers (suggestions welcome!) I also want to organize all my pictures and realized it would be nice to share my pictures on other platforms. I’ll start with creating albums on Facebook for my recipes and DIY projects (not just the trips!) Come say hi on Facebook if you’re there! I really should go see Broadway shows more often. Living in NYC, I sometimes take stuff like that for granted. Chicago is a great one!

LOVED Chicago myself. We’re so lucky that we’ve gotten to experience Broadway so much. I went to Priscilla a few weeks ago and they actually called me up on stage and I had to dance to a song. Couldn’t believe I danced in a Broadway show. It was hysterical and an experience I’ll never forget.
