…seeing a few friends I haven’t seen in a while. It’s funny because our friends here are segmented into two very distinct groups – the single/newly married ones and the ones with kids. For some reason, when we see the friends with small children, we hang out only with them or with other couples with kids and usually meet at someone’s house before or after the kids’ bedtime. But when we hang out with our single/newly married friends, more often than not we will go to restaurants, champagne brunches, or lounges. We will be seeing both sets of friends this weekend and it will be fun either way. But I thought it was an interesting little social divide!

I know of the very few friends I have with children, I see them very rarely and it is never in a setting other than their own home. I suppose they will be somewhat lost to me, until that day I have a little nugget of my own.

Great discount! You mentioned mr. rebates before. I will have to check them out. I’m still with ebates. LOL do you know how long it takes them to cut a check? ebates takes (at least it seems) a couple of months. hahaha about your friends. have a great time this weekend.

Hi Kim, yes I always compare among the cash back sites to get the highest cash back and Mr. Rebates is good. All of the sites have a 90 day pending cash back period in order to account for returns and cancellations (makes sense so someone doesn’t get cash back and then return the item). But you can request any available rebates from Mr. Rebates after this 90 day period. You just reminded me to request mine 😉

As a mom of a young kid- it is tough to do the same things we used to do! But fortunately I have a babysitter which mean I can go out at least until ten (ha!! My nights used to start at ten!). Speaking of- looking forward to getting together next week 🙂
