Have you been keeping up with Paris Fashion Week Fall 2016?
It can seem like a bit of a blur, especially since it is preceded by NYFW and MFW. I’ve perused the collections of designers that I like and there were some pretty cool outfits (the textured floral leather jackets at Elie Saab for instance!) and gorgeous settings (Chanel always has such beautiful backdrop and this minimalist one doesn’t disappoint). But I was really struck by Roland Mouret Fall 2016 Ready to Wear. Pieces reflect the different pieces I like in my closet – clothing with bold color (the indigo and emerald colors are just stunning jewel tones) and beautiful prints (the stripes are classic, but the hexagonal print is so fun!) I also like the texture of velvet that unexpectedly becomes a fitted piece and mixes surprisingly well with sheer fabrics. This collection is truly a fashion inspiration for what I need in my closet.
The collection also provided inspiration for some pieces that are available now.

What a beautiful collection, and I love the affordable pieces you found 🙂
I haven’ been following PFW much but I must go take a look at the full Roland Mouret show now. The pieces you highlighted are gorgeous!
