“Red, red wine” isn’t just the name of an undeniably catchy, yet cheesy ’80s pop tune, it is also the color of the moment. It is the color of deep and satisfying mulled wine and rich, dark foliage. It only makes sense that it is popping up in apparel, accessories, and beauty products this season. I’m most interested in exploring a few darker wine colored hues for my nails – doesn’t the darker shade of red instantly lend an air of mystery and sophistication?
Here are a few favorite pieces in fall’s favorite shade:
1. Velvet by Graham & Spencer “Kennet” Winter slub, Bloomingdale’s, $84
2. Moto wine high waist Jamie jeans, Topshop, $80
3. Essie Red Nail polish shades, Zappos.com, $8
4. Mulling spices dress, Modcloth, $37.99
5. Wine cord wedges, Tom’s, $69
6. Too Faced La Creme Color drenched lip color, Beauty.com, $21
Perfect shade for fall 🙂
It’s my favorite shade for fall too!
burgundy is one of my favourite shades! so reach and posh always
this color is so wonderful for fall! i need the pants.
LOVING the skinny jeans – I plan on purchasing a wine/oxblood/burgundy pair soon – such a perfect fall staple! 🙂
I al all over these picks! Love them. I’ve got the polish in my nails ATM!
The Modcloth dress is perfect! I love this shade also, and am glad it is making an appearance for fall. That Essie shade is great – I will have to pick up a bottle.
Love the dress, the jeans and the stunning lip colour. I need to get something burgundy in my life!
This is definitely the must have shade for fall. I’m currently on the hunt for a pair of burgundy cords.
I was just at Laduree last week but I never mind going back. Do email me when the time is closer and we’ll see if we can work a meetup this time 🙂

Honestly I’m not actually loving this trend very much, can’t make it work as a redhead ha. You’ve done a fab round up though, those wedges are cool (guess they’d be far enough away from my hair to be able to pull them off, ha).
I like those wedges! So far I am only about the wine colored lip and have invested in Lancome and Nars deep wine lipsticks. But I could see adding a wine colored sweater–unfortunately it’s just been too hot here to think much of sweaters, but all in time 🙂

N.1 and n.6 adorable
