The wait is over fashionistas – Alexander Wang for H&M launches today.
Mr. Wang stays true to his style with this collection and it is full of dark colors, sleek silhouettes, and edgy fabrics (think neoprene aka scuba suit fabric). Ā Don’t expect any ruffles or lace here (which I wholeheartedlyĀ love). Ā This collection features slinky little black dresses with gorgeous come hither straps, no nonsense leggings with black and gray trim, and puffy animal print jackets with Popeye-esque arms. While I usually go for a more feminine silhouette with my coats, I know that I could easily rock one of these black dresses or tops and instantly feel very cool and very downtown chic.

So I feel weird saying this….almost wrong BUT I don’t love this line. Am I nuts? I can appreciate sporty but it’s not grabbing me.
I totally know what you’re saying Johanna – this isn’t a “I am DYING to own pieces in this collection!” I like a few tops and dresses because they are undeniably edgy and sexy, but that’s about it for me!
