I am the quintessential girl and have always loved pink. October is all about the pink and the month is dedicated to breast cancer awareness. Many designers and retailers are also partnering with the cause and creating special items whose proceeds will be donated to a related charity. I love shopping for a cause (it justifies the spending as well right?) Breast cancer is also something that many of us may not consider, but should be aware of and help combat.
Here are a few favorite picks if you are looking for something pink this month:

I love the nail polish and the idea of home stuff like the bowl – a constant reminder of the cause as well… thank you for putting this together!
this has hit home so much more lately with my neighbor’s diagnosis and now giuliana rancic. makes me sad and mad at the same time.
I am all for shopping for a cause. However, most of the pink products out there do little or nothing to help women with breast cancer. In most cases, they are just ways for the companies involved to turn a bigger profit. Here is some info: http://girliegirlarmy.com/blog/20111011/beware-pinkwashing/

It is so important that we stay involved and purchase responsibly. It would be wonderful if everyone could act together to help women prevent breast cancer in the first place!
Great picks! I especially love the shoes.
