Ahh to have sat in one of the “first class” or even “business class” seats at Chanel Spring/Summer! Β The airport runway was recreated with this show and the clothing was somewhat of a 1960s homage to flight attendants (err if flight attendants wore Chanel of course!) Β Jackets and cuts were boxy and waists were undefined. Β While the silhouette wasn’t fitted (I normally don’t’ even take a second glance at dresses with a boxier shape), the detail was typically Chanel and typically divine. Β I loved the large beads on the bodice of the dress below – they make a bold statement on a simple dress. Β I also think a gradient tweed jacket should be in the works for me some day.
The mixed sizes of the stones and the tulle cape also make the first dress a quirky and wonderful wedding gown alternative no? It is all in the details (hmm or a fab DIY if you had the time)…

I love Chanel! These shapes are insane!
Agreed, that gradient beading is fabulous!
Yes please give me a first class to the runway, and put me next to like…Angelina Jolie, or Madonna…just kidding. GORGEOUS dresses.

I so loved this collection! I’ve always had a thing for the 60s π
Get some rest, sweetie! xoxo
Talk about a glamorous ride. I really like the silhouettes and how the collection feels both retro and futuristic at the same time. And the details are perfection just as one would expect from Chanel.
Beautiful! I love the way the designer plays with proportions in these pieces. I would love to sit in any section of any fashion show, really – I’ve never actually attended one in person!
I loved the last dress, even more than all the blue-shaded outfits.
Dresses and suits with pockets? I am a smitten kitten!
that would be a dream come true to have a first class seat. i don’t think i could handle it lol! gorgeous shapes and designs. xx

I have to agree, the airport runway was by far one of their best. It was absolutely amazing and made me wish I was there. The outfits were also amazing.
