What is the last fashion collaboration that caught your eye?
I was caught up in the Balmain x H&M collection like a lot of other people. The bold colors and over the top embellishments got me. Now, another collaboration at the other end of the spectrum is really intriguing me – the Uniqlo Hana Tajima Lifewear Collection. Hana Tajima, a fashionable British-Japanese Muslim designer, has created a capsule collection for Uniqlo. Quite a few modern classics are included like dark washed flared jeans, buttercup yellow trousers, and flattering maxi dresses and skirts (I love the black maxi skirt and have a similar version). One of the most interesting accessories are hajibs in soft rose and gray colors made of Uniqlo’s signature AIRism fabric to maximize breathability.
I’m really loving the soft colors and easy fits in this collection; pieces like the blush, polka dot dress are easy to wear and versatile. I imagine many of these pieces would be perfect for layering in the spring and fall. These pieces are effortlessly stylish and look so comfortable too. Bravo for Uniqlo for creating a collection that is truly inclusive and has easy to wear pieces. Read more about the Hana Tajima Lifewear Collection for Uniqlo collection here. This collection launches on February 26 in the US and UK.

That nude dress is just stunning!
Good for Uniqlo! This is a fantastic collaboration and the designs look really smart and functional.
The Uniqlo collection definitely seems like a lot more wearable than the Balmain one.
