How many parties are you attending this summer? This editorial – Dias de fiesta in Vogue España July 2018 – made me think about all the upcoming parties. I just celebrated my little one’s first birthday (a few pictures on Instagram and my IG stories here). While I don’t have any summer weddings to attend, I’m certainly celebrating other fun events from birthday parties to housewarmings. My little lady’s friends have one birthday after another. While that certainly has a certain vibe (of chaos and parents all trying to keep their kids out of trouble!), I’m also glad to attend a few parties with more mature vibes. My friend in the area will be moving to a new shophouse which looks amazing. I’m definitely looking forward to her party since her last one was full of such interesting people.
Interesting people are definitely my favorite part of parties. They come with such different stories and you’ll certainly learn something new every time. For instance, I learned about the beautiful and devout people throughout Tibet as well as the lack of bathroom facilities even at base camp! I may not always be attending parties, but I am reminded of how nice it is to connect with friends new and old. A leisurely time with the right friends certainly makes me feel lighter and happier. So here’s to wishing you some lovely summer parties with a few good friends and loved ones!

Yes it is nice to connect with people at parties. I just came back from my month away and went to a birthday party. It was nice seeing everyone and catching up. also, these dresses in this editorial are fantastic. 🙂
Happy birthday to your little one! I only have one party that I know of coming up this summer but I usually tend to prefer more informal get togethers.
