Does your home reflect your fashion sense?
My home decor certainly reflects more of my taste than my husband’s taste and it certainly shows a hint of my design preferences. I have hints of gold in picture frames, fashionable figures in bold colors, but also have modern as well as midcentury furniture pieces with clean lines. Similarly, I have beautiful dark lacquer and bamboo serving ware, but also fun floral Liberty of London print dishes as well. So I suppose my style varies between minimalist and fun. That’s why I thought it was interesting to see Kan Ito ceramics at Mansur Gavriel NYFW Fall 2016. Kan Ito is a Japanese artisan that creates beautiful, minimalist pottery pieces with a hint of texture and subtle sheen. I really noticed his pieces since the Mansur Gabriel show was set in a more serene setting calling to light the whole environment. He created custom cake stands, cases, and dishes. Gloriana Gavriel, co-designer and co-founder of Mansur Gavriel, thought “the texture of the pieces are warm, yet clean” and the creamy white color is “subtle and beautiful”. I love fashion and interiors and love seeing how these worlds work together to create one beautiful vision.
I totally think it does and I’m all about minimal style. Wow, those pottery pieces are so me. Kisses, sweetie.
Gah! These images are just stunning! My future home, I believe, will reflect my fashion sense.

Those bowls in the first pic are gorgeous! I try to include my husband in home decor decisions since we both have to live with it but we tend to have similar tastes. Yes SF is a great foodie city! We did enjoy it when we last visited. Glad to hear you’re having fun 🙂
I love that the bags were paired with the ceramics 🙂

My home has a neutral palette. So it’s definitely me. LOL I love these pics.

I love all white flatware. I wish I would have bought it when I got married. So perfect!
