I’ve recently developed a new obsession.
I must have fresh flowers in the house. It first began when I spotted some pretty, bright red daisies. If you’ve seen from my Instagram, I’ve also found a flower seller with lovely orchids (with stripes!) and another one with the beautiful peonies and tulips. I’m captivated by color and patterns so those drive the types of flowers I will buy. I’ve wanted to incorporate more flowers in my decor though (so they last more than a few days!) I was inspired not only by the Voutsa for Anthropolgie collection (featured here with the wallpaper panel again below), but by hints of floral as well in decor (the floral and vine candle stand in Erin Fetherston’s home – SWOON).
Here are a few favorite floral touches in the home:
I’ve also decided that I need to get the Mackenzie Childs dinnerware and mugs some day – this is the type of dinnerware I could use for many, many years!

Currently planning a floral post because I am obsessing over florals too! I don’t even consider myself a “floral person” but I am really loving the floral patterns I’ve been seeing lately. Great post!
I am so loving that cream and green living room and I also love that grey couch as well. Simply beautiful interiors that I’d definitely model my rooms after. Beautiful post.

The cream and green living room is Erin Fetherston’s NYC apartment – it is one of my ultimate home decor inspirations and everything from the vine-covered candle stand to the multiple settees are divine! Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely week!
A floral accent wall would be such a fun and lovely idea. I like floral decor but since I live with my husband I try not to go overboard with anything overly feminine.
I’ve only been to the offices at 1WTC. I want to check out the observatory but it’s still new so the crowds are crazy.

LOVE that first wallpaper…although I think I’d prefer it framed to covering the walls. Sometimes, less is more.
I am with you Iris! I love the first floral and peacock wallpaper but think it would be great as a large framed wall panel. It would make a great statement for a living or family room!
Beautiful floral inspiration! Love the wallpapers 🙂
I love all the florals…I will take any of these. The floral wallpaper is exquisite, looks like your outside!! Happy day to you lovely xx
That floral candle shelf is absolutely gorgeous! These are really pretty. Makes me look at florals differently. Love the dinnerware also.
