Our bare home study has caused me to ponder a redo. I came across the following home studies and oh, these would be lovely in a larger home some day!
Columns flank a study entrance and this gorgeous vintage stool from Jules-Émile Leleu via Bunny Williams;
Eclectic with just the essentials (funny how Scotch is an essential in this study!) via Jamie Drake
Contemporary and minimal via Amanda Moore
Or embrace whimsy and patterns like Anna Sui (can you imagine that peacock in your home?!)
I’d probably go with the open space of the first Bunny Williams study with a funky touch a la Anna Sui. My husband can read anywhere so the last room would be his ideal.
What does your ideal home study look like?
In love with Alan Mark’s study! XoXo
My office looks a lot like the 3rd photo. I like to have a very calming vibe while Im working. Such a stunning spaces, sweetie. Have a lovely Tuesday
Muah
I would take room #1 or #4! So chic. Great photos.

LOVE the third space! Great post! Miss Walker xoxo
i think my ideal study would be an old school library-esque feel. Dark, rich woods with large bookshelves and a big comfy chair in the corner.
The last one has to be my fav. 🙂

I love the Anna Sui room – minus the peacock. It reminds me too much of the stuffed pheasant one of my co-workers has in his office. I swear that thing stares at me!
Love the Bunny Williams as well and the last would be a fabulously cozy spot to curl up with a book!!
I think I like the first one, but my boyfriend would also definitely prefer the last. Funny story, by the way, I once dated a guy whose family had a peacock- though they kept it outside. It was fun to wake up, have coffee on the patio, and watch the peacock spread it’s feathers! 🙂
Looooove the first one.
Such gorgeous spaces!
Love this post!

They’re all fabulous but I can’t get over those columns! LOVE! 🙂
Our office needs so much work! I’ve got to figure something out.
I would have to go with number 5, I adore it, it’s perfect for me, I like all the things around to discover and wander through 🙂 Great blog, found you randomly, hope you’re well, have a great week! xx
I’d be happy to call any of these beauties my home study. However, i really, really like #1:-). Still trying to find the info on the sofa. I thought it was Ligne Roset, but i’m not sure…
ooooh! i’ll take #3 and/or #6!!!!
Love the first one!!
The first space is definitely more me…Love how open it is! xo
I would take any of these offices. Mine is shared with the kids and it is a total mess.
the peacock is very pretty but no practical at all. imagine having to pick up bird poop. hahaha.
i love something comfy and colorful 🙂
My study looks like my kitchen, or my living room, or my bedroom. Where ever I happen to be studying at the moment 😉
but my dream space would probably be something like the last one.
Chic on the Cheap
I love the first room although I would add some “comfort” touches maybe through oversized pillows on the floor. xoxo
TOtally drooling over the peacock in the Jeffrey Alan! Lovely!
i think i like the study with the scotch, though not necessarily because of the scotch. peacock is a close (opposite) second!
love these rooms…amazing.

What I wouldn’t give for a dedicated home office space…le sigh.
Mine would be girlie and look shabby chic! *^_^*
(Yep, my current fave although you probably know from my blog that I don’t visit the buffets there often)
Love that last pictures – looks so cozy. My husband is the one who uses the study though, so he’s all about bare. He doesn’t even like a cushioned chair while he studies!
