I felt almost 100% today and was able to make it into Zurich briefly. But my friend convinced us to go out to Zurich a little earlier so that we could see some of Switzerland’s sights by night. The train stations themselves were immaculately decked out.
Both Zurich and Zug train stations had Swarovski crystal tree – how simple and elegant!
It’s nice how these Christmas markets pop up in Europe around the holidays. They sell small trinkets, snacks, and toys. We walked along Bahn Street (Train street) in Zurich and saw more Christmas trees and lights.
The strange Chanel window….no don’t quite get why there is an accessory carousel around her head, but would lovingly accept any of those accessories!
Sigh, champagne and chocolate? You had me at cham…
Finally, mulled wine…the perfect end to a brisk walk around town.

So beautiful! I’d love to be in Europe for Christmas sometime.
Oh, God, those truffles! Put those in my mouth!
oh man! i am so incredibly jealous! i wish i was there!
My guess for the window display: it’s the visions of gifts she would like dancing in her head (like the “visions of sugarplums from The Night Before Christmas”). Just a guess 🙂
Lindsey, I think you’re totally right! I would have visions of lovely accessories in my head. I just thought it would have been executed in a more aesthetically pleasing way.
Post more! So I can live vicariously through you ;D
Maybe that Chanel window is using a shock factor. Something weird to catch everyone’s attention. I’d say it’s working.
I agree, that Chanel display does look a little strange, but the concept is cool. Aww Zurich looks amazing and festive! I really have got to get started putting up my decorations!
