What are your favorite parts of summer? Summer is host to so many wonderful things from longer days to trips to the country and seaside. But I really love the colors of summer. The skies are so vibrant and blue during the day. The flowers are in full bloom in every shade or orange, yellow, and of course pink. When I saw this editorial of Carola Remer for Cosmopolitan US June 2016, I thought of this year’s Pantone colors – serenity and rose quartz. I love how the colors are represented everywhere from makeup to fashion and decor.
As we are heading toward the middle of summer, I’m still drawn to these rich shades of blue and pink. They make me think of bright sunny trips, sunsets over a field of pink flowers, and long days with loved ones. I’m a bit sad that I haven’t brought the little one to the beach yet and we can’t go out to the orchards (there aren’t any nearby now!) But there is still time and we have a few trips in mind so I hope we can take the little one to the seashore and a few farmer’s markets before the end of summer. Here is to hoping your summer is also full of brightness and fun!
