“Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower and draws all good things towards you.”
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
Do you have flowers in your home? I never had flowers growing up, except when someone would kindly give me some for a certain holiday or celebration. Fresh flowers were beautiful, but seemed frivolous due to their short lifespan. Annely Bouma in Marie Claire Australia April 2018 makes me think about flowers in bloom. As an adult, I actually have a completely different view of flowers. It also helps immensely that I have discovered a local florist with such beautiful and affordable flowers. I love having them in the home whenever possible. Their fragrance, shapes, and colors simply brighten our home.
Most importantly, I love the feeling I get when I have fresh flowers at home. I see the burst of color and delicate beauty and I’m just in a better mood. Flowers also remind me to appreciate the beautiful things in life. Why wouldn’t you want to surround yourself with something that would make you happier right? So go get those flowers. Buy those lovely earrings. Visit the botanical gardens. Have that piece of dark chocolate. Wishing you a few happy moments friends!
Have a lovely week!
I love having fresh flowers at home but my husband sees it as a waste of $$$. LOL!
Lol I used to think like your husband! But some orchids here are 1/3 the price of a cup of coffee. Why not get flowers that last a week?
I don’t know who this is, but she makes me want to wear an elegant ball gown and take photos sitting in the woods. I’m sure they wouldn’t come out this pretty.
I had flowers in my home but they’re all dead so I just threw them out yesterday. Guess it’s time for a new batch.
Like you I have a very different view of flowers in the home nowadays. I used to feel like they were a waste of money but then I realized they’re really not for joy and color which they bring.
Yes to little bursts of color and the joy they bring in our homes!
Such a beautiful photoset, very inspiring!
