I haven’t had an advent calendar at him in a few years. But I used to love to rush to the calendar each morning to reveal the quote or new picture for the day. Nowadays there are much more interesting advent calendars for different companies. I love the varieties of treat and toys and there really is something from everyone (ooh I love all the nail colors!) Here are a few fun ones I found:

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…jetting to Shanghai! We are supposed to take off today, but there is an fog/air quality warning which delayed our flight. Boo! But we are having a mini family reunion in the “Pearl of the Orient”so it will be great to have a catch up with a few uncles, my brother, and my baby niece. I’m still getting used to seeing my family adding to their own families. It is weird/cool/fun to meet the newest family members.

Katie, you lucked out! Why did I never know about the advent calendars with mini chocolates? Our trip is delayed because of numerous delays and the air quality but we’ll get there in a few weeks!
