Zoya Wednesday with bottle by Chic n Cheap Living

Beauty Product Review: Zoya Wednesday

April 4, 2013

This nail color caused both instant love and instant confusion among my friends.

“It’s blue right?”

“What a fun shade of teal!”

Zoya-Wednesday-with-necklace-in-hand-by-Chic-n-Cheap-LivingMaybe that’s why this color is called Wednesday because it’s at neither end of the blue or green spectrum, but somewhere in between. Ā I thought this would be a beautiful shade of mint and it can be in some lights. Ā But it definitely has strong baby blue undertones as well. Ā One thing is undeniable – this became my favorite nail polish shade instantly. Ā It is bright and fun, but not so bright that you would Ā shy away from even wearing it to work (it isn’t as bright as the picture below which was taken in bright sunlight but doesn’t it look fun there?)

I would definitely recommend this as a fun color for spring and a foray into blue/teal/mint colors!

the photo of the bottle looks like mint, but on your nails it looks robin’s egg blue. either way, it’s such a pretty shade!

Lydia, yes I was very confused when I got this because I thought the shade would lean towards mint vs. blue but it looks very blue in some lights!
