One of my decor musts remains a beautiful settee.
I first proclaimed my love for settees hereĀ but really got inspired all over again when I saw this settee in the home of Gerard Tremolet. Ā The settee is actually the most understated piece of decor in the room. Ā Yet it remains undeniably elegant. Ā Can you imagine lounging in this corner as you serve tea and finger foods to a few guests (hummus and pepper filled crackers come to mind!)?
What I love about a settee is that it can also be a signature and statement piece of furniture in a home as well. Ā Here are my latest picks for a settee worth sitting on:
For a clean look (in a gorgeous color!)…
Morrow settee, Jonathan Adler, $1,995
…or a vintage one…
Divine Vintage Settee, Black Rooster Decor, $1995
…something in a pop color…
Astrid settee, Anthropologie, $2,498
…or for everyday living…
Presidio settee, Williams Sonoma, $1,750
What is your settee style?

Wow these are all so gorgeous that I have a hard time choosing one! I think I’d likely go for the pop of color, or the gray option. I love the vintage one, but you would almost need to design the whole room around it to work. Call me ignorant, but what’s the difference between a setee and a loveseat?
MizzJ, I like the vintage know too and would be tempted to rework a room to accommodate it! A settee is basically a fancy term for love seat because it is a small sofa.
The tufted gray one has my name all over it!
I love the Astrid Settee!
i ALWAYSSSSSS dreamed of having one as a child – i thought that’s what the “perfect” childhood room should have – one under the window to look out when it’s snowing or to read a book – u would think as an adult i would have one – but NOPE – but if i ever have a little girl – she WILL have one under her bedroom window :o)
These are gorgeous! I love the Williams Sonoma one!
Such the epitome of glamour and I’ve always wanted one.
doesn’t it just look so regal!? i love the astrid settee and the vintage one looks amazing.

I quite love the Williams-Sonoma beauty!
I think the Anthro and West Elm ones get my votes! Love a good settee, the more colourful the better in my opinion! Although I haven’t come across any fantastic options here in SG yet – any ideas?!
I did see a cute, small settee at Om Living in Singapore. It wasn’t super comfortable, but a great size and stylish as well. Perhaps we can take a field trip some time!
They are nice! I love the ones from anthropologie and west elm. gorgeous!
love the first two photos!
