There are few colors that can indicate as many feelings as the color red. Ā Drama, passion, anger, and romance are all rolled into this one color.I’ve amped up the red factor in my closet with a few choice items (mostly skirts), but also recently bought my first red, red lipstick (Chanel Rouge Coco Gabrielle). Ā I’m kinda excited, kinda scared to depart from my normal rosy warm color for this bold one. Ā It’s all about the unexpected pop of color for me which is why I’m also excited to some day decorate a room with a few great, red statement pieces (love, love the couches below!) Ā Use as little or as much red as you want (ensuing drama at your own risk!)

Red is my favorite color – if I ever have a house with my own home office, I will paint it red and have vintage maps and globes everywhere – it’s also my favorite color to wear. That Michael Kors dress is gorgeous, and the price is right!
