I’m way too told to know much about Ariana Grande, haha.  She seemed like another pop star that had random claims to fame like bizarrely licking donuts that were sold to customers a few years ago. But I also read about her empathy for her fans and post traumatic stress after the Manchester bombing following her concert.  She’s also known for getting engaged after only about a month or two of dating. When I saw these pictures of Ariana Grande by Alexi Lubomirski for US Elle August 2018, I recalled her quick engagement.  She may be young, but she’s certainly right in saying that love can be a wonderful and scary state.  I just celebrated 9 years of marriage to my love (time flies!)

It’s funny how our love has stayed the same in some ways and evolved in others.  I’m happy that we have both supported each other through country changes, career switches, and personal struggles.  It was really difficult at times.  Too be honest, sometimes we also didn’t know how to support the other.  The person you are when you enter into a relationship may be a very different person from the one you are today. I’m lucky that my husband has such a good sense of communication and is more in touch with his feelings than I am!  We’ve had our ups and downs, but especially after having kids, we are focusing on nurturing our relationship.  So I’m glad that we are starting to have date nights again and remember to pay attention to each other.  Relationships can change and we can change, but it sure helps if we can support each other through it.
