What is it about pink and green?
These are the colors of summer – a ripe watermelon for a scorching day or a bunch of blush peonies with a few lush leaves sitting by the windowsill. They are also the colors that instantly come to mind when I think of Lilly Pulitzer. The brand is the unofficial ambassador of Palm Beach chic. I love the bright colors and prints. So of course I’m completely excited that Target has partnered with Lilly Pulitzer for a collection launching on April 19th. I’ll be ready and waiting at my computer for my share of flirty maxis and fun and easy sheath dresses.
I am doubly excited that they are concurrently designing a girl’s capsule collection as well. The mommy and me outfit possibilities are a bit mind blowing and well priced with women’s fashion priced mainly in the $30s for dresses/$24-$32 for separates and nothing over $26 for children’s pieces. I can’t wait to hit a weekend brunch (in a few years) with my little one in our matching dresses!
