As the temperatures rise, I think of laying (under a shaded umbrella) on the beach, sipping fruity drinks, and throwing on some of my more colorful pieces. The newly launched Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn collection (across Pottery Barn, PB Teen and Pottery Barn Kids) makes me think of those wonderful, warmer days. Lilly Pulitzer has always symbolized Palm Beach chic. The brand’s bright colors and bold prints are instantly recognizable.
But even if you’re not a fan of wearing oversized floral prints, you may enjoy them in measured doses in your home. I love the fun pieces here including the palm tree table lamp to the eyelet bed skirt. It’s funny that the bamboo beauty cart, palm leaf hooks, and organic embroidered trim sheet set are part of the PB Teen collection. The golden shades and shapes are chic, but not limited to a tween or teenager’s room. The tropical shapes and colors (with a touch of lace) are unmistakabley Lilly Pulitzer and totally fun.
